AI Guitar Tuner is a fast, precise tuner for acoustic, classical and electric guitar. Open the app, pluck a string, and you'll see immediately whether to tighten or loosen it.
Two tuners in one app
Classic tuner. A proven pitch-detection algorithm (YIN) with noise filtering. In Auto mode the app walks you from the 6th string to the 1st: once a string holds within ±3 cents, you hear a short chime, feel a haptic tap, and the next string is selected. Chromatic mode shows the nearest of the 12 notes — useful for any instrument.
AI tuner. A separate screen powered by CREPE, a trained neural network for pitch estimation, running on your iPhone with Core ML. Apple's built-in sound classifier recognizes whether you're playing a guitar, bass or ukulele and picks the matching standard tuning. The AI follows whichever open string you pluck — no need to select it by hand.

Your sound stays with you
The microphone is used only to detect pitch. Audio is analyzed in memory on your iPhone — it is never saved to a file and never uploaded. Neural models run on-device too. The microphone switches off as soon as you leave the tuner.
Free, with ads
The app is free and supported by advertising. Ads never appear on first launch and never interrupt tuning: the opening ad is shown at most once a day, and the tuner opens right away if the ad isn't ready.
