ApisSocius is a beekeeping journal for iPhone and iPad. It replaces notebooks, spreadsheets and scattered photos with records organized by apiary, hive and inspection.
Everything in one place
Paper notes get lost, photos disappear among thousands of others in the camera roll, and harvest statistics have to be added up by hand. In ApisSocius every inspection belongs to a hive and every hive to an apiary, so the full history of a colony is one tap away.
Inspections
Record the weather and temperature, whether the queen was seen and how many queen cells there are, sealed, open and drone brood frames, honey and pollen frames, colony strength, temperament and varroa count. Log a varroa treatment (product and dose) and feeding (type and amount) in the same entry, and add photos.
The hive list shows a status for every colony — fine, needs attention, or inspection overdue — based on when it was last inspected.
Harvest
Record every honey, wax and propolis harvest with its weight. See totals for all time, a year, a month or a custom period, and a chart showing each hive's contribution.

Free and Pro
ApisSocius is free to download. The free version includes 1 apiary, up to 3 hives, 1 photo per inspection, and the last 30 days of history in the journal and harvest statistics. Older records are kept — they are simply hidden until you upgrade.
ApisSocius Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription. It unlocks unlimited apiaries and hives, up to 5 photos per inspection, full history, PDF and CSV export, and iCloud sync.
Privacy
Your records are stored on your device. With Pro they sync through your own private iCloud, which we cannot access. The app has no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
